Stand Back, But Not Too Far

Don’t let the virus in. Whatever you do, Don’t let the virus in, Stand back, cover your face, Hold onto your soul, whatever you do, don’t let the virus in, Where did yesterday go? The days when we were allowed to hold and sing; How I long to see your face, Don’t let go, keep feeling the rain, For as the long nights draw in, I stand on my own, Looking up to the sky, checking to make sure the stars have not Gone out; And now it’s clear and you must surely see, The kings have no clothes on; Only a mask, Maybe now we can finally change? So stand back, But not too far, I cannot bear to live without A heart. John Roberts
