Stand

I want to share with you what each letter in the word STAND means to me. S.T.A.N.D - The S is for Seek Seek wisdom, knowledge and understanding. Seek God's word. Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all things shall be added. The T is for Turn Turn away from your evil ways, turn away from unforgiveness. She let you down, forgive her. He did you wrong, forgive him. If God can forgive you over and over for all you have done and do, who are you that you can’t forgive someone? Do not harbor hurt and bitterness. Let it go and turn to God. The A is for Acknowledge In all your ways acknowledge God - Give God the glory! Do not take credit for waking up and starting your day. No cell phone woke you up, no alarm clock woke you up, your spouse didn’t wake you up. Acknowledge the fact that God had mercy on you and touched your eyes to see this day, did you tell Him thank you yet? Why not acknowledge God? You acknowledge your friends and family. And for those of you who have social media, you acknowledge your followers on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. You are following this person and that person and this person and that person is following you, but Jesus said, “Follow Me.” The N is for New You like New huh? You like yo new house, you like yo new car, you like yo new clothes, you like yo new shoes... Aww, you all fresh and clean on the outside, but how about asking God to create in you a CLEAN HEART. Then you will be clean on the inside and clean on the out. Ask God to RE-NEW a righteous spirit within you. As we understand, old things have passed away and we realize ALL things have become new. The D is for Deliver Deliver us from sickness Deliver us from that addiction Deliver us from financial struggles Lord Deliver us from depression Deliver us from that spirit of unforgiveness Deliver us from disobedience Deliver us from EVIL… STAND - STAND in your life STAND in the mist of your circumstances STAND in your spiritual walk with God STAND against the evil plans of the devil STAND in the lives of your children and your family There will be times in your life where you will be trying to work it ALL out, figure it ALL out, solve ALL the problems, fix everything and everyone that is broken. Soon you will realize you have exhausted ALL your energy. YOU CAN'T DO IT ALL! God doesn't want YOU to do it ALL. So relax and release and after you have done all you can, you just STAND!
