Stagnant Pollution

Shards of listening sunflowers, she's trapped in the gardens reflection, contaminated shattered seedlings was not the topiary's intention, inside the stamen, her severed particles, causing an afflicted defection, scraps of glass and plastic lies beneath the roots, depleting the petals complexion, the world divides into pieces from this stagnant pollution infection. Nicely done-- captured the cause and effect aspects very well. Very descriptive words with flow, and able to visualize the beauty and the destruction...a job well done luloo! Congrats on your placement.

I'm with you here, Laura. I've seen so much pollution in my life. I have seen the destruction it can and is doing already, in my lifetime. Excellent poem from an excellent poet. A7
