Stabbed By Your False Friendship

I thought you were different than All my other so called friends Who were nice in front of me But told nasty bad stories Behind a back that was stabbed By the lies that always grabbed Attention from lies so bold That wrapped me with a tight hold Never easing up and strangled A little more when you dangled Your two faced evil smile That you hid with flare and style Pretending you have been so true Unfaithfulness is cracking through The holes inside your dark heart Now I see right from the start You were just like all the rest Your loyalty was so far less Just like every other friend That knows how to break and bend My spirit that's dying fast From everyone in my past Saying they'll always be here My hearts now being aware People are just mean and cruel Making me look like a fool Everyday I learn and live I'm never going to give One more piece to anyone I am strong and finally done Being used for entertainment My friendships under containment No more giving it away In a deep cell it will stay

I think that everyone can relate to this poem. We have all been stabbed in the back, a time or two, by a "friend". You write from your heart, and are not afraid to tell it like it is. I admire that! Really great work, Robin!...Thank you for the wonderful comments, as always!
