how does the fire relate to the squirrel Danie? I don't know about this..have not experienced it?

Well, Deb, fires burn down the trees that a squirrel has all of those nuts stored in...and his nest. I the mind allowed to "jump" to make the relationship in haiku?

Sad about the fires, the little critters work so hard. A nice Haiku, I don't have much luck with them.
