Squirrels Go Round Round the Tree They Go Before Winter
SQUIRRELS GO ROUND ROUND THE TREE THEY GO BEFORE WINTER
where do the squirrels
where they go before winter
as frost begins sets
the pittle-pattle
all the chatter-chatter and
running to and fro
round in circles where
up and down the trees between
tween the trunk and leaves
hurried they run
around and around they run
hiding, passing nuts
those that have fallen
as well those they’ve gather
hurriedly they run
where do the squirrels
go where before the winter
the winter snow storms
hurriedly they run
where FAR FROM before winter
where do the squirrels
