True, the Hawaiian mongoose sadly reigns supreme, here in the islands, also, other predatory species have also found a niche in the islands via illegal entry. I believe tough measures should be undertaken to stamp out ignorance who flagrant disregard of our ainas fragile ecosystem. Did a quick read-up of squirrels since they're not a local species but we do have mongooses and squirrels they aren't Aloha!

Here, we have their mongoose cousins who're a bit aggressive, and stealthy, total house crashing critters, ugh!
