Squiggles On a Page

Squiggles on a page. They mean nothing. Pay close attention. Get enough right no one will know. Go through the motions. They mean nothing. Take them apart. Copy them diligently. Application is everything, This is a lost cause. You are lucky to bit by bit copy. Knowing no significance. Nothing in your world relates. Do not let the enemy know! He did not help your dad. He will not help you. Your dad is proud. He thinks you can read. You never tell him you cannot. The same as him. Neither of you knowing you were not only dyslexic but you both needed glasses.

You made me wonder how many things are kept secret that could be addressed. We have an enemy who expertly uses fear and shame. My son is dyslexic. Glad we knew early on. He has such a great attitude about it.

I too am dyslexic, as was my father, and my uncles. A first grade teacher who taught THEM figured it out right away and taught me to read using a mirror.

I didn't get glasses till grade 6. I spend those early years as blind as a bat. My first hockey coach thought I was a complete idiot. Great poem. Have a good day.

David, I am shocked how many do not have a clue they need glasses. At least in the grade school now, we test their eyesight first, before we diagnose anything else. It has made a big difference!
