Springtime Overnight
Our springtime crawled in softly
Greenness walked in ahead of her
The daffodils laughed so gaily
Her tulips were lightly demure
Our springtime greened us overnight
We awoke one day, and there she was
Back in place, quite a pretty sight,
Reminding us she does what she does.
