Uplifting message in this well written Tanka, Eve. It should place well in the contest. I was working in our front yard tree beds yesterday and the birds were chirping away. It was so delightful. The yellow daffodils brought a feeling of peace to my soul. Thanks for sharing your poetry with us, Bill
