Spring's Rondeau
Spring's Rondeau
Spring's raucous rondeau taking a chance
On a rollicking springtime dance
Fields of green wheat swing and sway,
New partners bloom for spring each day,
As clouds across the blue skies prance.
Vernal mischief casts a glance
On rock and roll meadows at play
As rowdy zephyr winds invade
Spring's raucous rondeau.
Wall flowers blush with hope, perchance,
For a budding printemps romance
On point for spring's gusty ballet
Feral festival - joy's heyday -
Freed from winter's frozen happenstance -
Spring's raucous rondeau.
