Spring's Rondeau

Spring's Rondeau Spring's raucous rondeau taking a chance On a rollicking springtime dance Fields of green wheat swing and sway, New partners bloom for spring each day, As clouds across the blue skies prance. Vernal mischief casts a glance On rock and roll meadows at play As rowdy zephyr winds invade Spring's raucous rondeau. Wall flowers blush with hope, perchance, For a budding printemps romance On point for spring's gusty ballet Feral festival - joy's heyday - Freed from winter's frozen happenstance - Spring's raucous rondeau. 4-28-22 Contest: Your Favorite Theme Sponsor: Regina McIntosh

To pick a line from perfection, Sam, where does one begin or end. An enchanted extolling of the season’s awakening, extending beauteous energies throughout a masters quill. All the best my friend, Aloha~William

Your flirtatious minx of spring is so captivating here also - I think my favorite line is 'As clouds across the blue skies prance' - also blushing with hope for a springtime romance - I met my hubby in the spring (it was March, quite a few years back) so spring has romantic memories for me also - best wishes for the contest!

You have put it so well Michelle - spring is a flirt!!! Had fun with the rhymes that often demanded some ingenuity and creative thinking! "Prance" was one of those instances. So glad it tickled you as it did me! I, too, met my husband one spring morning - May if I remember correctly. It does bring back that time. Many thanks and much gratitude for your best wishes! Blessings my friend!
