Spring Time Follies

Spring time follies have arrived,

birds singing their songs,

such cheer is in the air.

Ducks of every kind

and color landed on

the lake this very day,

to take part in the

Spring time follies.

Chipmunks watching

from under cover,

but seeing all,

Smiles coming to their

little faces, as they

watch the party.

Spring time follies

is the event of the

year for these little

creatures and always

will be.

Nothing better about spring than seeing all the wildlife out and enjoying the "follies" again, James. It must be awesome to see all those species of ducks landing on the lake as the cute chipmunks peer from undercover. Delightful poem! Fresh swordfish actually tastes more like a pork chop than it does seafood. Although I love nearly all seafood, many who don't like that "fishy" taste love swordfish. A 300-pounder is actually a "small" one! LOL Love, Carolyn

The "little creatures?" Hey! What about us ancient creatures who have suffered through a long hard winter. Seriously, love the animals in your poem. I feed hundreds of them every day. I'm sure they are thankful for the spring and an easier way to get food. Love, daver
