Spring Tease
She tempts with velvet lips and smiles
the cradle of her fruits are borne;
cavorting down the orchard aisles,
now gentle on this frosty morn.
Within her teasing flirting flaunts
she tempts with velvet lips and smiles
and on this day shows what we want -
her lacy petticoat beguiles.
With taunting wind and temper riled
much like her sister's winter chill,
she tempts with velvet lips and smiles,
reminding suiters at her will.
When then, as we're to turn away,
into the room adorned in style
to celebrate the last of May
she tempts with velvet lips and smiles
