Spring Storm

Clouds and sky enraged Whirling angry messages Thunder is its voice Crashing and banging Crackles of lightning and limbs Hail pounding pavement Leaves rustling about Wind swirling and crying out Then comes the silence Howling winds begin Moans of fury from cyclones Raindrops tap loudly Thrashing of buildings Trees uprooted and thrown down Path of destruction Wind turns to whispers And raindrops drip rhythmically Serene once again * inspired by Raul Moreno’s Sounds of Nature contest.
