Spring Song
The world is quiet,
delicately painted with
dazzling white highlights.
Strange pillowed shapes lurk beneath
snowy soft blankets.
Muted melt melodies ring,
silently singing.
Obstinate earth emerges;
spring song steadily surges.

We got an unexpected 1" of snow last night;
Missy and I were out in it, and everywhere,
all around, the quiet melodies of dripping, trickling,
rivulets forming as the snow melts and Spring re-emerges. Nice!
