Spring Showers

The aura of spring is in the air.
It begins with thawing.
Next the frost heaves,
And the soil becomes ripe.

Spring showers
Begin as tiny droplets
And build into thunderstorms
Feeding the earth.

The essence of newly greened grass
And black soil fill my senses
First shower of spring is over,
And a rainbow appears.

Showers bring light.
Showers bring hope.
Showers bring renewal.
Showers bring life.
