Joyful hues, salient, vibrant and bold
Splashed against a backdrop of forest pines
Whispering light so serene, like pure gold
Drifting across dew dripping petals, signs
Spring has arrived. touching hearts with wonder
Singing a caress across souls, like psalms
Breaking through plans with rain falling, thunder
Laughing oak, birch and walnut with no qualms
Rushing winds sigh, breezes of blissful hope
Encourage hearts to cry out with concern
Like the thrill lovers feel when they elope
Spring rides the tempest with wishes that yearn
Breath of faith, amazing grace, crooning praise
God’s light shining bright through soft, soothing gaze
