Spring is born

Spring rolls into the valleys and hills Leaving mountains with dots of white snow The warm breeze chases away the chills Robin bounce along to cawing crow It's a wildlife dance to welcome spring Leaving mountains with dots of white snow The wind chimes sway in air as they sing Anticipation, no wonder why It's a wildlife dance to welcome spring Puffy, white clouds float across blue sky Bushes sway with buds ready to bloom Anticipation, no wonder why The birth of flowers, still in the womb Soon, the vibrant colors will be born Bushes sway with buds ready to bloom Last autumn's leaves blow wrinkled and torn Spring rolls into the valleys and hills Soon, the vibrant colors will be born The warm breeze chases away the chills Heidi Sands 4/16/24 9 Syllables (C)opyright

Spring is truly birth giving season, flowers in your garden you never knew you had begin to open up as the warm weather caresses their buds to open up. And it is a season one can walk around and admire wild flowers as well, blossoms on trees open into vibrant colors. We are ending our 2nd month of Autumn and the leaves have turned every winter color you can imagine, our temperatures up to today have been hot, today is rather cold. Awesome Wrire Heidi, Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

The imagery in this poem is so pretty. "In like a lion, out like a lamb" here in upstate New York. Your poem would 'look' beautiful in water colors. Such a delightful one!

Thank you Stan. This Spring sure has had a mixture of weather. Wow hail. We had an April Northeaster with heavy snow. I hope all is well :)

Dear Heid, your poem shows a wondrous portrait of nature's awakening. Through your words, I feel the gentle embrace of the warm breeze and the anticipation of new life bursting forth. I loved the scenes of mountains with dots of white snow juxtaposed with buds ready to bloom, capturing the essence of transition and renewal. Your verse reminds me of the beauty found in the cycles of nature, offering peace and hope in times of change. - Blessings, Daniel

Woven in inspiration of spring, your poem depicts it-- in splendid imagery, my friend. Sights and sounds adorn your canvas throughout, Heidi. A FAVE for me.

This is a marvelous poem. I like the terzanelle style. The difference between waning winter and blooming spring was easy to discern.
