Spring House Cleaning (Reverse Etharee)

SPRING HOUSE CLEANING ( reverse Etheree)

house
ugh!  house!
needs cleaning
it’s saturday
what an awful mess!
dust    cobwebs    outside dirt
it boggles my mind to think
when I think    it’s of other things
wouldn’t it be nice to take a nap
all day    but then the mess will still be there
know what?    I saw an add in the paper
this old chinese lady cleans houses
she is very reasonable

you say she’s out now?
what does she charge?......
saturday?
no workee”

Well dear poet, you seemed to have made it in mine favz, many-a-times ! Since it's spring, I didn't think it would hurt ta pick out your spring writes to read, since I was in mine favz anywho. I really like this one now, cause I don't have to do Spring cleaning this Spring, cause Noah and I just moved in this house, and I renovated and cleaned it already before we moved in ! Got a good chuckle out of this one. I used to be so good at the spring house cleaning though mine was a year around effort. With recent health issues, I just do what I can and have to let the rest slide. In the end, there are more important things in life like writing poetry like this. Enjoyed it!!!! Keep on writing. You gave me a good laugh, Daver. I can just sense your frustration when you found out she doesn't work on Saturdays. Sorry I've been out of touch. I just got home this afternoon and there's a lot that needs my attention. Love, Carolyn
