What a delightful entry for the contest, Jan! Daffodils do look like trumpets and I love the way you describe the lambs and birds. You work well in this form, Jan. Best wishes for a win! Hugs, Carolyn

Lovely words Jan to welcome the joys of Spring. Heard that you’re all back lockdown, let’s hope it won’t be for long for you and us too. ~ Belle :-)

oh Belle it is dreadful here the numbers rising on a dramatic level it will be months not weeks for us, all schools now closed perhaps they should have done that when one child was infected as its spread so rapidly with the youngsters now:-(hugs jan xx

Its in full pomp here mark lambs in the fields and daffodils in the garden, we were due to go on 'the daffodil walk' with some of our friendship group but its cancelled because we are in lockdown. There are literally thousands of flowers by a private estate but there is a walk where the public can see the flowers:-) hugs Jan xx

I love double D’s...daffodils and ducks. Good poem, but I expect we may get an argument or two from old man writer before it’s all over. John
