There once was a seed in the ground
Waiting for Spring to come around
Her patience gave way
Came up anyway
Now she is frozen to the ground

This is real cute and true too. The way our planet is warming, plants will start blooming earlier because the weather is warmer than normal for the time of year, and then a temperature drop freezes them overnight! A great Limerick Janet!

Oh yes you are getting it the rhythm is marvelous - now remember [especially for me it need not be a true rhyme] if you used CROWN you would not have to use ground twice! [Now she's frozen from tip to crown.] It took me years longer than you! You smarty pants! Light & Love

Thanks Andrea, I am not putting this in the contest because I am just learning how to do this and Debbie helped me to learn how it should flow. So would not be fair. But next time I will be they have a limerick contest I will be entering:) Janet
