Spring Draped In Ecstasy of Embrace
On the wings of winter the northern winds depart,
their harsh whisper the frost-fastened barren boughs hear…
wait, you’ll listen to the sweet music soon, don’t fall apart,
the serenading southern breeze will caress you, you’ll endear.
The misty mask melts away, turning the sky cobalt clear…
the ambrosia of spring descends, drizzling in diaphanous air,
gossamer clouds clad in wispy ribbons of regal robe appear,
enticed by their satin shadow the buds begin to unfurl in flair.
Defoliated trees spring to life after verdant resurrection,
the sunburst sky sprays dust spectrum on dawning meadow.
On cadenced flow of zephyr floral fragrance finds the direction,
to trail the butterflies flittering in the arena of springtime show.
The southern winds waft your scintillating scent sailing to me,
it allures me in moonlit magic to the amorous river of grace,
its silver ripples reflect the moonbeam lattice on you, I see…
your eternal spring I’ll drape forever in ecstasy of embrace.
