Spring

The world of vegetation detects spring much sooner than men
Buds and herbs rise up from their snowy arrest and wintry rest
Boost lovers and lambs to spring and brandish in lustful deeds.

                             +++++++

A very lovely Sijo Dr. Ram. I don't think I have tried this form yet. It looks more challenging than one may think!

I was struggling with this form of poetry last night, and not getting far. Having read your poem I may give up! Like it very much. Good wishes, Shirley x
