Spring
When sunlight breaks
Above my neighbour's roof
And bare branches in a breeze
Make light dance before my eyes.
And when I hear the blue tit's pip
Below the slowly brightening skies,
Then Spring has woken from her sleep,
Cast off the last cold winter sheet
And soon she will arise.
