The beast hit our island with full force and then storm Emma wreaked havoc, doubt my snowdrops and crocus nor the early daffodils will survive. Great haiku Tom hugs Jan xx

Enjoyed reading your work. I have never had any luck with crocus here in the south. I guess the fact they say snow crocus should give me a clue why they don't do well here. Thanks for the visits to my page. Sara ..Back cold here in the south this morning and suppose to be back close to freezing tonight and maybe three more nights.

Thank you Sara, thankfully here in Worcestershire we seemed to have escaped the worst of it although it's started snowing , hopefully it won't last too long.Main roads are drivable and side roads you have to take a bit more care.Enjoy the weekend. Tom

It is not melthin Tom lol!!! Nice haiku, not heard the word crocuses for such a long time, do not think i've seen one for a long time either..

Thanks SO, we had a bit but not the beast we were expecting, it bypassed us thankfully, I know others weren't so lucky.Cold though, hard to believe that a week ago it had that spring feel in the air.
