Spreading the Seed

Soon he'll come with salty sums,
By the gallon--by the ton!
Instinct decrees he spread the seed-
Nothing else could be more fun!

A Rain of white blinds my sight,
Unless, of course, I swallow...
And I'm certain I just might-
Do it all again tomorrow!

Must I understand or can I run away without understanding anything at all? I'd prefer the second choice but I'm afraid it's too late! I did open Pandora's box, it seems...What will happen to me Clever write! Hahaha!

I had no idea such an experience could be so poetically engaging... also, see last line of the first verse. Did you mean "Nothing" instead of Noting?

ARGH! Thanks for catching that, Karen. I'm usually good at proof-reading, but that one slipped right passed me. It's so much fun to be vulgar without being explicit lol ;) <3

lol Thanks, Jake. It's a bit "naughtier" than the subjects I usually write about, but I found it fun writing this. I like being vulgar in a "read between the lines" kind of way. Really happy you enjoyed; thanks for the review :)
