Spread On Silk
The warmth of your skin
melts your cold eyes
into pools
of jewels
to be devoured
I have walked
your
pearly-towers
embraced you among
the freshly cut flowers
Bathed in fragrance
and spread on silk
I have fallen
beneath your guilt
into worlds so fragile
I nearly broke-
where fertile
fields
of desire evoke
this fleeting
embrace
sweet-kiss
of eternal hope
