Spotty Boy
What a wonderful friend you were,
A brilliant and sweet boy,
For a lonely day you had the cure,
An old stick for your toy.
Sometimes you use to make me mad,
You never meant to though,
Such a spunky little lad,
And I miss you, ya know?
As years went by, time slowed you down,
And that was sad to see,
For you had always been a clown,
You were so dear to me.
Well if there is a dog heaven boy,
You surely will be there,
For bringing our lives so much joy,
And the friendship we did share.
So Spotty Boy, this poems for you,
Your memory lives on.
To a lonely little girl's best friend,
In my heart, you're never gone.
