Cancelling our football season
Appears tantamount to treason
If players can't play
They still need their pay
Which, of course, is beyond reason!

I don't have much pity for the pro teams - they make millions, after all! - but at least the colleges have been saying they will honor the scholarships for the student players this year, so that is some good news at least-

I know they get paid and extravaneious amount, yes I made that word up, lol, Boys will be boys, they miss their games, but the ladies are happy . Nice one Rico

I'm really going to miss football this year. Don't know how the college teams could play, but schools will reopen in Florida this month. I hope the pro players have put aside some money from previous years, but maybe they will still be paid this year?? Saw the Miami Hurricanes play over Thanksgiving last year. Quite different in Japan where a Sumo wrestler got the boot for breaking quarantine to join friends in a restaurant thus putting the Tournament and other wrestlers at an unwarranted risk. Several American teams have already lost their season by such conduct. Aloha! Rico
