Split Wide Open

I split wide open my heart to you Lord
Fill my emptiness to recharge my soul
I remain docile to your faithful words
I’m here, ready to respond to your call.

I split wide open my mind dear Jesus
Set my day's plans for your glory above
Dwell in my thoughts, guard it from futile fuss
That I’ll think and act in your will and love.

I split wide open my life to you God
Be my all to all,  my companion… guide
Sanctify me by your merciful blood
Make me worthy to be called as God’s child.

Please split wide open Thy Heavenly Grace
Make me whole again in your sweet embrace.
