A fleeting vibe Just passing through Split second bliss I bump in to Disrupts the sad Dissolves the plain I’m feeling glad I can’t explain It’s bitter sweet A short lived joy Deceitful treat A glee decoy Not too much It’s just enough It gets me by When times are tough

An ably crafted artistic gem on a ubiquitously germane thematic choice...for, well, methinks we all need that 'paradise for a moment' sort of cathartic breeze - perhaps what you so fittingly refer to as a 'glee decoy':-)

There are only two things I have found in life that provide a brief respite from the ugly rat race we call life , nature and music. At some point we all have to decompress or go nuts. I can definitely relate to this wonderful poem. It is a great talent to write a meaningful poem using simple words, Anna. It's the kind of poem people like to read. I hope you and yours are well.
