Splendor Upon the Grass
Naked they lie upon the grass,
he touches her lips she starts to moan,
deep are his kisses she has never known,
their tongues infused with unbinding affection,
their bodies entwine in a sonnet perfection.
These are the moments that make life clear,
loving someone without fear,
holding them close you can taste their tears,
penetrating souls rapture unbound,
they come together can you not hear,
the music of lovers loving without fear,
their bodies shaking upon the grass
ecstasy chosen frees them at last,
the song of two lovers has come to pass
their afternoon splendor upon the grass…
