Spiritualist Not For the Contest

I beg to differ on your point of view
when spirits want to talk, they don't ask you
they enter only hearts with portal gape
and no I don't permit, recorder -tapes

She was a mother in the throw of grief
her 4 year old had died of cancer.. brief !
he spake in silence, two eyes of jewel rocks
"my fuzzy slippers mom, are in the toy box"

She pried the solid doors of unbelief
for he was a child of miracles not grief
before she left, I felt a whoosh beneath my nose
in askance she was prompt to swift disclose ,

He was too small for respirator masks
the doctor wafted close, it did the task
Is mediumship a gift of God or not?
in my defense it can't be taught nor bought

My natural antithesis is obsolete
I am an ounce of water in a field of wheat
spirits CAN intervene, & though I'm far from green
now that I'm old, I'm even closer to their realm .

Sad, painful, deeply moving and full of hope, as well. Beautiful poem.

All dust in the wind seen from a different perspective with no authoritative judge just a sense of love. Aloha! Rico
