Spiritual Conquest
“I can do all things through Christ!”* props my soul
Ransomed by the compassionate Saviour’s Calvary cross' sacrificial blood
Indeed freed from sin’s wages; granted with eternal life’s abundance
Purified to please the Almighty Creator along faith’s performing might
While I minister to others earnestly, devoid of vested interests.
I thank God Who causes the triumph of my spirit
Vanquished against arrogance prevailing over dominant self-esteem
Smitten thru submissive surrender to the Lord’s supreme sovereign will
Fully conquered by the Holy Ghost upon His wondrous grace
As moved by His compassion to love with utmost best.
*Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
