Spirits Beware

Solitary spirit, there wandering free Are you the ghost that always haunts me? I hear you walking my hallways at night To my surprise, spirit, you’re gone by daylight Oh, active spirit, I hear you out there Is it your intention to have me so scared? For here in my bed with the sheets pulled up high I wish that you, spirit, would learn how to fly Oh, you loud spirit, that makes all that noise You’re louder than all of my girls and my boys In the morning, when’s sunshine or covering mist I’m calling that number for the exorcist

Good one Michael. Can of course read much deeper meaning into this one. If only all the ghosts of yesterday could exorcised that easily. Well done. Regards Heidie

Ah, Booo... LOL, Micheal I love the imagery that flows through the lines of this very humorous write, just in time for the ghostly, goblins and such that haunt especially on halloween night... by the way what was that exocist's number ... we may have a few haints around here too as my dog has been howling lately and I can't say that it was at the moon :0) enough to make one say hummm.... Excellent Writing my friend, I thank you for sharing the read. God Bless, Always, Adell

We have one of those in our house too! I'm sure of it...however, my husband insists that it's just this old house that creaks and groans! I know better!! :) ~ Carrie
