Spiral

The signs were always there Dishes piling up Packages at my doorstep Tangled hair in a messy bun Cereal boxes lying here and there Dust gathering outside my bedroom door The thousand calls you ignored I have been stuck in the spiral for quite a while When my mind was a broken mess I needed you but you never came Now all my unsent letters to you are filling up the room I should be worrying about myself but I’m still stuck in the spiral wondering where I went wrong with you
