Spinning a Love Dream
In a state of half wakefulness,
Amid shadowy playfulness,
I lay dreaming of handsome you,
Looking at me with eyes so blue,
Blue stare awoke me from my dream,
Surrounded by night's moonlit gleam,
Drawn to you by love that disarms,
Couldn't resist your magical charms,
Charmed music wafted through the air,
Flute and violin notes declare
Your unending passion for me,
Making me twirl in ecstasy,
Ecstasy as you lead me on
To love's garden, decked in chiffon,
How can I not follow behind?
You have dazzled my lovestruck mind,
Minds dance in tandem with night's rhythm,
Covered in starlight's sparkling prism,
You and me, for each other made,
In sync with midnight moods, we swayed,
Swayed till love's pirouette is done,
You kiss me and a new dream's spun...
