Ahh!! That is a special time to see those spider webs glistening with dew or rain. A whole lot better than not seeing one and wearing it. LOL..Enjoyed reading your winner. Way to go. Congrats. Sara

Jan, it's lovely imagery. and it's darn near as close to being haiku as I think it can be!! (you and I are obsessing on this now, what is haiku and what isn't it. haha. anyway, I think it is GREAT)

A superb haiku with the kind of end line one would expect from an original Japanese haiku! This one belongs in a book of how haikus should be written. Well done, Jan. / M

Me too Eileen - we actually call them 'Doiders' as my son David could never say spider - it was 'Incy Wincy Doider' - I do love their webs though - I posted the poem - went through to the kitchen - their on the wall was a massive one (well big to me) and son wasn't around to remove it. I was very brave lol :-( Hugs Jan xx
