Spencerian Stanza - Summer Rainstorm
A bright sunshine day, in the southwest, clouds!
Black, dark, a storm, the day waits, drought not pleased!
Enjoyed dryness for some, heavy cloud shrouds,
tumultuous rain, plants, most all appeased.
Once all flaccid, now proud, thankful, well pleased,
their in full bloom, colours of the rainbow!
storm gone, now play miss the shadows, they're teased,
the sun now casts shadows, dappled rhythm, such the flow.
How nice to dance, too rock-n-roll, find time to grow!
