Spelling the Tree As If It Was Me
Swallowing my pride as if it was the right thing to do
Asking to be someone's love every chance as the love is lost in my mind
Very stupidly known for my choices to be who I wasn't
As my mind fools me to fall for you, like if you were the better man
Not only the scars define me as one person who's been clean from self-harm for a year
Asking love to be something I find within a persons mind
Hallow as the widow tree still remains alive with his name carved in the limb that hangs low
Balanced feeling for you on the scale
Rushed to make one simple decision
Ode to my heart
Onto believing these lies you keep on speaking
Killing the innocence in me
Exiting my heart as you stole it as well as broke it
