Special Time of Day

The sun dips behind forest trees
There is a moment to say please
Spread your rays as far as this hill
This time of day, for light to spill
Across the land, through the window
Highlighting things I want to know
It hurries with breath of wind’s sigh
I rush to watch and say goodbye
