Special Nine

Born in April, two thousand and nine he was spastic along his weak spine--- yet, we parents call him, "son of mine." Midst life's challenges when he turned nine God blest him for triumph*'s milestone-shine cheering through thumbs-up gestures, "I'm fine." Now, able to count from one to nine he zooms via wheel chair with no whine sharing by sign language, "let us dine."
*Psalm 92:4 For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands. May 13, 2021 1st place, "ALL YOURS (May 23)" Poetry Contest Sponsored by Brian Strand; judged on 5/23/2021.
