Speaking Kindergarten

Who is where and what is we and who is they? Confused? Wait for it. She is he and they is we and where is what? Somehow these things are starting to make more sense every day. I used to not understand, but I am struggling now. Because what is she and where are they and why is he? It does not help that the kindergarteners all speak like this, and do not understand the Difference between he and she. We are all he’s here. The longer you work in a school, the more this stuff starts to sink in. She said he and we were they, and that was then. Tears now. Okay, let’s slow it down. One more time, please. By the way, one more time is really optimistic. Many of the kindergarten students whisper their whispers. It will more likely be six more times. There is no way in the world I could speak kindergarten all day long.

PERFECT description... They do seem to have their own unique (if exhausting) dialect! Terrific write. ;)

I started it and thought 'what am I doing?' but suddenly I knew.

'Speaking kindergarten' - what a great title to a book about young children, kids do have their own magical language ( though I would not like to be around them all day!)

Kindergarten students TERRIFY me, luckily I only see them a few times each month as they cry for no reason, and they whisper, and they do not answer you the first several times except the loud ones who answer for everyone, and loudly.
