Speak

Say something,
Open your mouth,
And just let your thoughts flow out;
Like a stream of truth,
Not tales.
Speak.

I’m learning to listen to my heart
Not my mind.
So take a lesson from me,
And give this sincerity a try.
Speak.

Don’t joke,
Don’t hide,
And seriously don’t lie.
Be honest with me,
Or we will never get off this rollercoaster ride.
Speak.

We won’t be
Until you figure out
How to express your true feelings for me.
So please,
Free your mind,
And embrace your heart.
Just be real with me and
Speak.

Yeah, that shy fellow he wants to speak but he's too shy. he loves you enough to die. maybe. he dreams of you at night. but speak. he too full of fright. give him a chance. stand by his side. stay away from other boys that may hurt his pride. then one day you'll see him open up and you'll agree. honest is the best policy. take it from me. jhl
