Spasm In the Universe
We all want to see raw, organic beauty
Reflected
Spasms in the universe convince
The only difference between yesterday
And today is what we know
Consumed by the sameness
Wrapped in warm muscles
Sore from swallowing
Sweet taste of the moment pools like a flood
Boulders of choice rumble past
Crushing viruses that reside in us
Breaking into gravel spraying sand,
Coating skin, dulling hair, blurring vision
Inhale deeply of the cloud
We are the choices we breathe
Look around you
Set your benchmark to compliment the clock
Swallow, believe, then
Calculate the results
We are where we choose to be
