Sparking the Flame

She had no spark within her heart
No fire burned out of control
No glow of which she could impart
No flames of desire within her soul
The muse within her did not ignite
   Her inspiration had taken flight

Her words could not spark a blaze
The muse within her did not ignite
It seemed she was in a daze,
She wanted words to light up her mind
But her words could not spark a blaze

Then a spark of desire she did find
And words began to light up her mind
Soon she felt an inspirational fire inside
That illuminated her soul with a burning pride
Her writing brought her great acclaim
A spark had now become a flame
                         -

I enjoyed the whole poem but I love the last line. Don't we all wish for the spark to become a flame. Congrats on your win, Joseph.
