Sparked
I thought I saw a change.
A little flash across his face,
When I smiled his way.
Guess I'm seeing things today.
I thought I felt a shock,
That ran from hand to hand,
Electric as we touched.
Suppose I'm feeling things again.
I thought I heard his voice,
Not that it was impossible,
He doesn't feel the same.
How wrong a girl could be.
Because when he spoke my name,
Something made me think again.
One little word was all it took,
To set these sparks aflame.
