Spare Me Celebrity Status

Spare me celebrity status, If it means selling things I don't like, And will never use, or buy, To help the company and me make mega bucks. Spare me celebrity status, Of thinking my opinion on other than my main income earner, Is better than everybody else. Spare me celebrity status, If it means always wanting more. Spare me celebrity status, That gives me an ego, Two sizes too big, And boots that require me to wear too pair of sox Spare me celebrity status, And the thought, That I need an agent, To rip me off.

I only hear them in Hollywood shouting curse words! Impudent snot noses with tons of money, can't wait to burn the flag and bring down the USA. Remind me of spoiled kds having tantrums~ wanting their own way, and They, these ignorant goobers, want to run this country! Gee..Panagiota You said it well in your poem.terrific!

Thank you David. Glad you are not being sucked in. It disappoints me when some sports stars become millionaires on sponsorship and advertising deals and movie stars become political puppets. All poets on the soup seem more down to earth and write from the heart without looking at their wallet. You enjoy your week. Regards David in NZ.
