Space Ship On Main Street

Came upon us at nine o’clock dear
Spaceship, but what was it doing here?
A shop girl gave a scream
This was much more than scream
And a little boy threw up a cheer!

His mother gave him a box on ear
Her chastising is what I could hear
Aliens gave a wave
I laughed and so did Dave
Earthling world is changing, that is clear.
