Souvenir
I hold three magic rocks, in my hand
Rolling them over and over and over
Leaving this reality behind, far behind
Souvenir
I sail on a sea of crystal dream,
Far from Reality’s shore,
And notice a phosphorescent gleam
Lighting the ocean floor.
The towers of deep Atlantis shine
Underneath water and moon,
And mermaids above form a chorus line
Crooning a siren tune.
Escaping their lure I set my sail
Heading for home instead,
And wake up to find a mermaid scale
Dripping, beside my bed.
